Capacity Building on Micro-Enterprise Finance for DAY-NRLM/SRLM staff

The World Bank is assisting National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and the State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs) in enabling women SHG members having entrepreneurial abilities in accessing Microenterprise loans from banks and other financial institutions. In order to facilitate that NRLM and SRLMs have developed a cadre of Vitta Sakhis and mentors who will assist the SHG members in assessing bankability of the enterprises and prepare loan proposals.

Under the project M2i performed the following tasks:

  • Training Needs Assessment of Vitta Sakhis and the mentors
  • Preparation of training content to be used for offline and online delivery
  • Preparation of conceptual videos as training aides
  • Preparation of Training of Trainers' material
  • Delivery of 10 Training of Trainers (ToTs)
